Summer is in full swing and that means firing up the grill for fabulous BBQ events! When it involves summer cooking, one of my favorite things to do is to incorporate superfoods into my recipes. These nutrient-packed elements aren't exactly the smartest, as they provide a number of fitness benefits, but they also add a delicious twist to the standard barbeque.

To prepare the salsa: combine diced blueberries, cuts of mint leaves, pieces of red onion and jalapeno, lime juice and honey. I assure you, you will appreciate this meal!

You can include and cook, kale, quinoa, blueberries and the rest of the superfood ingredients that you know of and enjoy throughout your outdoor barbeque social. Thus, don’t hesitate when summer arrives and you pick up the grill and don’t forget about superfood and decorates your recipes with it in summertime wholesome barbecue!


And do not forget that it is not only important what you are grilling but how you are grilling it. With a little bit of imagination and some superfood ideas, your ordinary BBQ can easily be transformed into a brilliant kitchen’s day-off that will treat your tummy well and nourishes your body as well.
